Central telephone systems on campus are the responsibility of Communication and Network Services (CNS). Y2K efforts by CNS are described on their web site.

Departments have Y2K compliance responsibility for any telephone equipment or services not purchased through CNS. The CNS web site (http://cnsy2k.berkeley.edu) has links to many vendor sites that may be useful for departments in researching Y2K compliance.
